If you are lighting your candle for the first time be sure to do the following:

1.) Remove the twine around candle before lighting.

2.) Allow your candle to burn for 1-2 hours until all the wax on the surface has become liquid.

3.) DO NOT burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

4.) BEFORE EACH USE trim the wick regularly (ideally length: 3-5mm).
